Marc McCartney has a love for connecting people with opportunities in order to promote change across the world.  Seeing others use their God-given talents to spread good in their own communities is his true passion. He works with leaders across the globe helping to equip them with motivational skills in order for them to make a difference.

Raised in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Marc made his way to Texas on a Baylor University baseball scholarship, even though football roots run deep in his family.  As the son of Bill McCartney, legendary Colorado Buffaloes head football coach and founder of Promise Keepers, Marc saw first hand what making a positive Christian example in the world can do for men both on the playing field and in life.

Marc has previously worked for RightNow Media where he helped start the ministry and led their Leadership Development and Conference initiative. Marc has also worked for Promise Keepers  as an Event Manager and E3 Partners helping to plant churches with an emphasis in Colombia.

Currently serving near Dallas, TX, he oversees Missions and Campuses for Lakepointe Church.  The Missions side includes 32 local ministry partners, 42 national church plants and working with 19 churches in 11 countries. Marc also oversees 10 campuses at Lake Pointe, including three in Spanish.

After graduating from Baylor University, he married his college sweetheart, Robin. They have two beautiful daughters; Macy and Mallory, who are currently attending their alma mater and loving being Baylor Bears! Since becoming empty nesters, Marc and Robin enjoy traveling and exploring new places, spending time with old friends, and sampling the best  BBQ across Texas.
