Cathereine Otano (DMD Class of 2027) moved from Miami to Birmingham not knowing what she would find. What she discovered was a place where classmates feel like family, faculty look out for you, and every day brings a new reason to feel at home at UAB SOD.

Cathereine's bay leader, Dr. Taylor, is the kind of mentor who remembers the small things and teaches the essentials. He met her family at Family Day and keeps her growing in clinic every week.
